Who processes it. Enquiries are delivered to the firm by email through a form-delivery service acting on our instructions. Once you become a client, your file is governed by our engagement terms and our information security policy.
- All client files and data are classified as confidential by default.
- Access is limited to attorneys and staff with a need to know.
- Client documents are exchanged through an encrypted portal, not unencrypted email.
- You will be notified within 72 hours of any confirmed data breach that affects you.
How long we keep it. Enquiries that do not become matters are deleted within twelve months. Client records are kept for the periods the law and the Legal Practice Council's rules require.
